English Literature with us
Why travel for English Literature
There is a particular pleasure in watching a set text step off the page. On our London's Stories, Stage and Royal Heritage trip, students walk the streets that shaped Dickens, stand in the playhouses where Shakespeare's words were first spoken, and see how centuries of royal history seeped into the literature they study. The United Kingdom offers a rare closeness to the writers on the syllabus, and that closeness tends to stay with young readers long after the flight home.
